There are five rhinoceros species :
- the White Rhinoceros and the Black Rhinoceros, which live in Africa,
- the Indian Rhinoceros, Rhinoceros of Java and Sumatra rhinoceros found in Asia.
Rhinos are threatened by poaching, “horns” is used in traditional Chinese medicine and Southeast Asia, and the destruction of their habitat.
The FDB is committed, through corporate philanthropy Rhinos, to support the conservation of Rhinoceros in Nepal and especially the management of conflicts with local populations.
