Crocodiles

Crocodiles are animals well known and often feared by the general public (all are however not dangerous!). This set is called crocodile which includes: 13 species of crocodiles, alligators two species, 6 species and 1 species of Cayman Gavial.

The “crocodiles” live mostly in the humid tropics, where many of them are victims of hunting for their leather, or even the destruction of their habitat and finally, generating situations of conflict with the local population.

The FDB is committed, through the sponsorship of Lacoste, to support field projects relevant to safeguard and protect these mythical animals, sometimes on the verge of extinction, and promote harmonious coexistence with man.
